He turns around with a wide smile on his face.

“Hi!”

“Hi” you respond a little taken aback “Do you..uh.. come here often?”

“Well yah I’m here all the times!” he says, just as enthusiastic. “I mean all of my buddies are here!” He points in the general direction of the crowd.

“mmm ok.” You struggled to think of how to navigate this. “So like, none of this is this unusual to you?”

“What do you mean? This is great! I mean all of my buddies are here! And these are our favorite songs that we chose”. You look into his eyes and you feel like they seem a little glazed over.

“Right…” He turns back around, and you sit back for a moment to watch the scene.
