My goal was to make the case easy to assemble (and disassemble if needed), meaning it uses no adhesives. It is held together with 4-40 fasteners.

I designed it in SolidWorks, and formatted it to be laser cut on sheet of acrylic.

Overview

I wanted a personalized display case for small items on my desk. The items had sentimental value but no organized place making them get in the way. The display case I made allowed them to be in a fixed, organized orientation and easy to move around my desk as one unit.
