My goal was to make the case easy to assemble (and disassemble if needed), meaning it uses no adhesives. It is held together with 4-40 fasteners in t-slots.

I designed it in SolidWorks, and formatted it to be laser cut on sheet of acrylic.

Overview

I wanted a personalized display case for small items on my desk. The items had sentimental value, but no organized location, meaning they would start to feel like clutter. The display case allowed items to be in a fixed, organized orientation and easier to move around my desk as whole unit.
